The most important thing is to put the Wavlink router and existing modem as close together as possible, or at least within a few feet of one another. Then check whether they are ready for setup by looking for the power LED on them. If either of them is not ready, you will need to wait when booting up the rest or check the power supply to the modem. After this, grab your device and connect it to the router's network using its default password. Then you will need to search the default web address or IP address of the Wavlink in order access the Wavlink router setup portal. After accessing that portal, log into the router with its default username and password in the field provided for the same. Proceed by selecting the WAN type and DNS on the next page. Thereafter, choose the network you want to configure and tap on the button Configure. Following this procedure, you will successfully set your router. Finally, changing the SSID network name and password would take the whole process into completion. Now start using it and enjoy the fastest internet speeds on your WiFi network.
